Everyone tastes the same strip. Nobody tastes the same thing.
Host a taste party for your table: five paper strips each, one screen everyone can see, and everyone's phone. In about an hour you'll know who's a supertaster, who shares your palate, and what to cook that every one of you will eat.
Your table's taste map
How a party works
You bring the table. We bring the game, the reveal and the menu.
01
Create the party
You get a four-letter party code and a QR code. Guests join with either, on their own phones. No app, no accounts.
02
Taste together
One shared screen walks the table through envelopes A to E. It waits for everyone at every step, then wraps up the round.
03
Love it or hate it
Twenty foods, rated at your own pace with five faces. Then the room's love-hate map goes up on the screen.
04
The breakdown
Everyone's persona, percentiles, badges and best recipes, the table's taste map, and a menu that suits every person.
Three rounds, one shared screen
The shared screen can be a laptop, a tablet propped on the table or a TV. Nothing is timed: every step waits for the slowest taster.
The strips
Everyone tastes each envelope and answers on their phone. Answers stay hidden until the last one is in, then the screen shows how differently the table tasted the very same strips.
Love it or hate it
Chocolate milk, mushrooms, sour gummies, saltines. Five faces, at your own pace. Then the screen calls out the food that split the room.
Guess the palate
Before each persona is revealed, the table guesses it. Points go to whoever reads their friends best. Nobody scores points for their own tongue.
The breakdown
A page for every guest, built from everything Taste Compass knows: persona, percentiles against every member, badges, taste radar and best recipes. Then the table's taste map, the titles, and a menu for all of you.
Notes worth keeping
A handwritten invitation to share or print, and a taste note for every guest, written from their own results.

Grandparents to grandkids at one table, and finally an answer to "why won't they eat it?"
An icebreaker on the meeting-room screen, with a leaderboard and a lunch order everyone will like.
What you'll need
Envelopes for each guest
Every guest tastes their own envelopes A to E from a Taste Compass kit, with a glass of water to rinse.
One screen everyone can see
A laptop, a tablet or a TV. Open compasstaste.com/screen, type the party code, and approve it from your phone.
Phones, if people have them
Guests scan the QR code or type the party code. No phone? Take your turn on the shared screen.
FAQs
Do my guests need an account?
No. They join with the party code or QR code and a first name. Each guest gets a private link to their own breakdown, saved for 30 days.
Is a party result the same as a kit result?
Yes. Same envelopes, same questions and the same scoring as the Taste Compass kit, so a guest gets the same persona the kit would give them.
Can kids play?
Yes. Add them by name on the shared screen and they take their turns there. Kids get the kids' version of every persona, and nothing alcoholic is ever suggested while anyone at the table is under 21.
Does everyone need a phone?
No. Anyone without one is added on the shared screen and taps their name when it's their turn. The party waits for them.
What if someone has to step away?
The party waits. If you'd rather carry on, the host can let them sit out a step from the host controls.
